Currently in Sydney and looking for a WorkAway for one month from June 9 to around July 9 in Queensland.

Description

Hi! I have been living and working in Sydney for a few months now, with plans to fly back home (USA) in mid-July. For my last month in Australia, I am looking for a more unique experience that could only be done through a workaway. I am looking to find a host in northeast Queensland (preferably by the beach or in the rainforest) that I could help on a sustainable project. I recently graduated from university with a degree in environmental science and am very passionate about nature, wildlife, and sustainability. I have experience planting native trees and gardening as well as other tasks like weeding, mulching, and landscaping.

Additionally, I can be a big help around the house. I love to organize, clean, and can do general tidying up around the house. I also love to cook and try out new recipes. I can be extremely helpful if you have kids or pets that need to be taken care of. I have 6 years of casual babysitting experience and have grown up with dogs, cats, chickens, and other household pets. I love any animals, especially ones that have been rescued from the wild and are being rehabilitated. I am also a very creative person who loves arts and crafts. I can DIY many home projects such as sewing, making plant hangers, or constructing pieces of art for decoration. Additionally, I am a young woman who grew up with the internet all around me, so if you need someone who is tech savvy to help out with phones, computers, or anything else technical, that's something I am good at.

I am a very hardworker and good listener with any task given. I don't always need to be told what to do, I can find jobs to finish on my own if that is what you prefer. I am really just looking for a stress free, enjoyable, workaway where I can help you out at the same time as enjoying my last month on holiday.

I have many outdoor skills such as gardening, landscaping, and planting trees. I can also help around the house with cleaning, cooking, tidying up, and general maintenance. If you are looking for help with kids, I have years of experience babysitting. I also have years of experience pet sitting and I love animals of all kinds. I am a creative person with a DIY approach to things.
