Hello!
My name is Lucie and I am 24 years old.

I am planning to come to Okinawa from late December to late January after graduating from my last semester of university, and then Taiwan and mainland Japan. I will only be able to do volunteer/charity work with my visa and am looking for a work away which fits this criteria.

I enjoy hiking and walking in nature and discovering new places. I also like to read a lot and enjoy being around other people and children. I am also fond of animals/pets (in general but cats especially).

I am curious, adaptable and keen to meet new people and learn from them. I do not mind physical tasks and am overall pretty easy going.

I love languages and am always keen to learn more. In addition to English, French, Spanish and Italian, I also studied Russian and Korean for a few years but due to lack of practice my skills are very rusty. I am currently taking Mandarin and Cantonese classes, and am looking forward to learn some Japanese next. I don't have a teaching certificate but I have a C2 certificate for English, and have volunteered to help beginners with language learning before.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have babysat multiple times in the past and like working with children (ages 6 to 12). I have also done volunteer work teaching languages to beginners before (English, French, Italian).

Among others, I have a degree in Sports Science and am a licensed sports instructor. Hence, I am okay with manual and physical labour, and would also love to share my love of exercise. I have also helped renovating houses in the past (though only small tasks), and am willing to expand my skills.

In addition to this, I have worked in a phone call center as an assistance coordinator in the past. From this job I have learnt customer service skills and how to manage stressful situations.
