Description
I’m Lishan, from Singapore. I’m someone who values meaningful exchange, presence, and contributing to spaces where people feel supported and at ease. I’m drawn to community living, slow travel, and environments that value kindness, respect, and mutual care.
I see travel as a way to learn how people live, not just where they go. I enjoy being present, observing, and participating in daily life rather than rushing from place to place. I’m naturally attentive, thoughtful, and intuitive, and I work best in calm, respectful environments with clear communication.
I’ve volunteered both locally and overseas and feel most fulfilled when service and learning go hand in hand. Whether I’m working with children, supporting guests, or contributing behind the scenes, I aim to bring a grounded, caring presence and to be reliable and considerate in whatever role I take on.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I’ve been a yoga teacher for over 11 years, with experience in yoga, meditation, mindfulness, sound healing, and Reiki. I’m comfortable teaching beginners, children, and mixed-level groups, and supporting retreats or wellness programs.
I also have a strong background in hospitality and guest relations, with over 14 years of experience in retail, F&B, events, and hosting roles. I’m attentive to guest experience, comfortable working with people from different cultures, and enjoy helping spaces run smoothly.
I’ve worked in education and community settings, including as a preschool assistant teacher, working with special needs children in Singapore, and contributing to community projects in Indonesia and other parts of Asia. I can support children through yoga, mindfulness, art activities, and English teaching or conversation practice.
In addition, I have experience in social media, content creation, photography, and copywriting, and can help with documenting experiences, creating content, or supporting online presence when needed.
I’m adaptable, observant, and reliable, and I enjoy contributing in ways that are thoughtful, respectful, and supportive of the community I’m part of.

Autres infos...
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, where my final year project focused on photojournalism, following individuals in recovery and documenting stories of resilience and everyday life.
I’ve travelled widely across Asia and tend to gravitate toward off-the-beaten-path experiences, slower travel, and meaningful cultural exchange. Along the way, I’ve volunteered both locally and overseas, including community projects across Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines and China: teaching children English, painting schools, organising activities for migrant worker children, and supporting animal welfare and elderly communities. Even while travelling independently, I often find myself offering yoga, mindfulness, or English support where it feels welcomed.
I’m certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, and have renewed this certification multiple times over the years, most recently in June 2025. I’m also a certified rescue scuba diver, have completed a freediving course, and enjoy being in nature through activities like hiking, surfing, and rock climbing. I’m a Level 2 lead climber, and value safety, awareness, and calm decision-making in both outdoor and everyday environments.
In yoga, I’m also certified in pre- and postnatal yoga, and approach teaching with sensitivity, adaptability, and care.
At home, I share my life with two cats, and I have a deep affection for animals and eco-conscious living.
