Hi, my name is Liepa.
I'm new in workawayers community.


I set out for my first solo trip.
I recently quit my job so I could live a little slower life.
I can't wait to pack my backpack and go for an adventure.

It's still cold in Lithuania, so my first stop is sunny Portugal.
I've been twice in Portugal and I fell in love here in every sense.
I want to experience Portugal more strongly, more deeply, with the local traditions and the rhythm of people's lives.
I want spend whole day in the nature, get quality tired, breathe fresh air and dream again while I'm sleeping.

I am friendly, quick learner and sincere.
I am fascinated by simplicity (every day is full of wonderful details that adds up to a stunning picture).

*I like to observe and admire the environment around me, it inspires me to create and to live.
*I love to cook, especially vegetarian food, I can cook for a large groups of people.
*I love animals, nature, all kind of plants (medicinal herbs are my main interest).
*I am an artist, I love to create (I could contribute creatively to your home in my spare time or we could make a workshop together and create something amazing!)
*I love bike trips, long walks, new challenges, new experiences, I like to explore new places. *It's always nice to have a deep conversation and meet nice people.
*I admire the simplicity and joy of life,

I look forward to learn all kinds of new things, meet interesting people and make new friends. :))

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I used to spend my summers in the village, helping my grandmother in the garden.
I also worked in a botanical garden (I was taking care of medicinal herbs). I don't have much experience in agriculture, tho.
I have dreamed of herding goats since childhood, after I red Johanna's Spyri book "Heidi".
Sadly, never got a chance to take care of the barnyard animals, but I really like animals and I think I would do well.
I have a dog myself, she is great company, I love her so much, we travel together a lot.

I like to draw and create, I can be useful in helping with creative projects and crafty things.
I like to cook, I have experience in cooking for large groups of people, so I can throw a feast for you. :))
I work as an art teacher with 8 - 10 year old kids. Also I have been working at a camp with children for five summers in a row , so if you have kids I can take care of them and come up with creative activities.

I learn fast and I'm excited to acquire new skills.
