Hi! My name is Lila, I am an open-minded and adventurous person! After graduating high school I decided to take a gap year and travel to learn about life from new perspectives, be of service to others and our beautiful planet, and reconnect with nature. I'm passionate about the importance of protecting our environment and living in harmony with the natural world. In the future I plan to pursue a career in the environmental field in order to take action towards healing our planet. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. I also love spending time in and connecting with nature. I can’t wait to begin traveling the world!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am an enthusiastic individual with a positive attitude and a love for learning new skills and helping others.
I have currently completed two work exchanges in France and Wales through Workaway and WWOOF during which I helped with gardening, household tasks, and child care.
I have experience gardening following permaculture principles as well as experience with animal care looking after chickens, dogs and cats. I am especially interested in permaculture and regenerative agriculture and am eager to learn more about the practice.
I love kids and have over 6 years of experience with child care in which I have cared for children ages 3 months to 7 years.
I have three years of experience working as a shift lead at my local ice cream shop where I was responsible for supervising shifts and training new employees.
I enjoy learning about new cultures and have experience with cultural exchanges as my family hosted an amazing international student from Turkmenistan.
I also volunteered at my local retirement community for the past three years where I assisted residents during events and activities and served as a barista at the on campus coffee shop.
As a keen and receptive learner I am always excited to help out however I can!

In addition to pursing a career in the environmental field I also hope to become a yoga teacher one day. I am passionate about practicing yoga and would love the opportunity to learn more about yoga from others as I travel. I also love to spend most of my time outdoors. I love hiking and camping as I grew up spending my summers hiking in the mountains of Montana. Nature is at the center of my life and I am beyond grateful for the Earth's great beauty!
