Hi there!

My name is Lena, I'm 24 years old and live in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
I graduated from Art School in the summer of 2023, as a creative writer. Since then, I have been working as a writer of theater plays, poetry and prose. I also volunteer at a small city farm and have lots of experience as a nanny and in the hospitality industry (café's).

In 2018 I traveled across europe by train and worked at two WorkAway places (both work with animals). I love working with animals, the outdoors, long walks, inspiring conversations, reading and swimming. While staying at my previous WorkAway places, I also discovered a passion for cooking!

I grew up with dogs and horses and my dream is to someday be able to support a small farm in addition to my writing work.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I grew up with horses, dogs and chickens so I am used to shoveling poop, cleaning up stalls and taking long walks. I currently volunteer at a small city farm with pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys and horses. I still have a passion for horses but also my doubts about equestrian sports and how horses are sometimes treated there.

Since the age of thirteen I have been working as a babysitter, something I still enjoy doing. I have experience with children from 0 to 15 years old, especially with children from 2 to 10 years old.

During my studies I worked at a cafe, behind the bar. This work especially taught me a lot about hospitality and chaos :)
