Hello, my name is Leandra and I’m from Switzerland. I recently completed my Bachelor’s degree and am currently finishing an internship before starting my Master’s. Before continuing my studies, I would love to gain international experience and grow personally through meaningful, hands-on work.

I’m an open-minded, outgoing and reliable person who enjoys being active and involved. I’m naturally curious and motivated by learning through real-life experiences — whether that’s helping on a farm, supporting a family, or contributing to daily tasks.

What brings me happiness is being outdoors, doing sports, spending time with people, and trying new things. I love animals and feel comfortable taking responsibility. I enjoy being useful and contributing to a positive atmosphere.

I see Workaway as a chance to connect, contribute, and learn.

I would love to improve my French, as I studied it for 13 years in school and have a solid foundation, but I never really had the chance to actively use it in daily life. Improving my spoken French would be a big goal for me. I am also open to learning another language, such as Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied Business Administration (with minors in Psychology and Law), which taught me to think in a structured way and to work responsibly with different kinds of people.

I babysat two sisters for over six years, seeing them weekly and often spending full evenings or days with them. I also grew up with two younger brothers, so being around children and taking responsibility feels very natural to me.

I have worked on a farm before and really enjoy practical, hands-on tasks. I’m comfortable around animals and can ride horses, as I did horseback riding for several years when I was younger.

I played volleyball for six years, which taught me teamwork and commitment. As a child and teenager, I also went to youth camps where we camped, built things, and spent a lot of time outdoors: experiences that made me adaptable and comfortable outside my comfort zone.

I’m not the strongest person physically, but I approach tasks with common sense, patience, and good problem-solving skills, and I’m always willing to learn.
