Description

I am an artist and photographer! I have a naturally curious and optimistic view of the world around me, and engage with people sensitively and with compassion. I love the opportunity to learn and connect with others and to get an insight into other cultures and ways of living.

I am very interested in trading language, gardening, photography, art, and travel stories of course! I am a 35mm photographer and have created an exhibition from my travels called “Falling in love with everything “ , ask me about it if you’re curious, I’ll love to tell you! Currently studying drawing, painting, and ceramic sculpture at home (ceramic is my new favourite medium).

Any opportunity to deepen my art practice, connect with others, and just have a great time singing, playing, dancing, making something together and enjoying life in the moment is very special to me. Hoping to take lots of pictures and create a life that reads like a wild romantic adventure

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Nannying: I have three years experience as a nanny, working with children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years old. I have experience working with children who have physical disabilities. I have a passion for childcare and a particular skill and sensitivity for working with children. Along with nannying, I also have experience cooking, cleaning, doing laundry, vacuuming/ mopping and doing general day-to-day tasks. I can provide references.

Art Teaching: I have 2 years experience working as an art teacher. I teach children ages 5-7 and 8-12, and recently have written 2 nine-month long after school programs for the these ages.

Gardening: I have grown and tended my own garden from seed for the last two springs from heirloom flower and vegetable seeds. I a very interesting in learning more about gardening and farming.

Massage Therapy: I have a degree in Massage Therapy. My degree is from Sutherland-Chan, a prestigious Canadian massage school. I would be happy to trade a massage or massage lessons.

Violin: I have been taking violin lessons for the past year, and am currently on Suzuki violin book 4 (if you are familiar with the Suzuki method). I am happy to share the violin knowledge that I have (though it is not much, I am not a professional but a very passionate student who has been learning quite quickly).
