Hi! My name is Laurence, I’m 31 years old and currently traveling in New Zealand.

I’m doing Workaway mainly to meet people, share meaningful moments and experience daily life in a more authentic way.

I’m a naturally energetic, positive and curious person who enjoys being active and learning new things. I really like hands-on experiences and spending time on the field rather than staying indoors, and I’m always happy to help with practical tasks.

I’m open-minded, adaptable and motivated, and I take what I do seriously while keeping a good and relaxed attitude. Whether it’s helping around the house, gardening, outdoor work, DIY projects or daily activities, I enjoy contributing and being useful.

I love outdoor activities, especially water sports, and I’m always excited to discover new skills and experiences. For me, Workaway is all about exchange, connection and sharing moments — cooking together, talking, learning from each other and being part of everyday life.

I’m really looking forward to meeting new people, helping where I can and creating great memories together!

I have experience living with a family as an au pair in Germany, which helped me become responsible, adaptable and comfortable with daily family life. I’m happy to help with children, routines and general household tasks.

I enjoy cooking and preparing meals, and I like sharing food as a moment of exchange and connection. I’m also comfortable with gardening, cleaning, organizing, outdoor work and general help around the house.

I’m reliable, organized and quick to learn. I follow instructions well, take initiative when needed, and always try to contribute with a positive and respectful attitude.
