Hello!
My name is Lauren, I grew up on a small farm in Minnesota and have been loving getting back to that work and lifestyle through workaway. I have been doing work trades at farms, schools, and communities for about 10 months now.
Living in community, with nature, and learning new skills and ways of being has been so so fullfilling! I am especially seeking community, regenerative farm practices, and getting more experience in natural building methods!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
My families farm mostly raised lambs, but throughout the years we had goats, cattle, pigs, and llamas, caring for livestock is something I have a lot of experience with. We also raised crops and had a large garden. I have worked on many vegetable farms while traveling, mostly no till organic methods.
My second area of expertise is craft. By trade I am a potter, and have a special interest in textile arts and basketry. I have carpentry and building experience, and have worked on two timber framing projects and renovated a house boat.
