Hello,
my name is Larissa, I am 19 years old and come from Switzerland. A few weeks ago I finished high school and now I'm starting my sabbatical year.

First something about me. I live together with my parents and my two sisters in the countryside. In my free time I like to meet friends and spend a lot of time with children, be it babysitting or just playing with my neighbors' children. I also spend a lot of time in stadiums, because football means a lot to me. I am a very creative person and do handycrafts a lot. I love being active, experiencing new things and learning new things.

One day I would like to be a remedial teacher, so I will start my studies after the sabbatical year. After 14 years of school, I want to experience a new adventure far away from the classroom that I will always remember

I am a very open person and love to get involved in new challenges and learn new things. During these five months i want experience a lot of neu things and crow by myself.

At the same time I want to improve my english, because I support an orphenage in tansania for disable children with volunteer services. And also for my future goal as a teacher it will help me.

My dream has been to travel to Canada one day, since I was little. There exist no specific reason why Canada, however, for the last 15 years I have been talking about traveling to Canada, so I would like to fulfill this dream now. During these five months I would like to see different beautiful places, get to know the traditions and culture of Canada, improve my English, take into my heart new people and experience an unforgettable time from which I can take a lot with me and which I will never forget.

I would love to hear from you and spend part of my gap year with you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I started babysitting when I was twelve years old. I did many internships in childcare. For example, in kindergartens, day care centers,... Also I was during three years every summer vacations on a farm family, where I looked after the children, cooked and cleaned to support the family. Last fall I was in Tanzania for two months in a children's home for impaired children and supported the staff with daily tasks such as changing diapers, playing, giving food, swimming, going for walks,...
I am very reliable and appreciate getting trust from parents. Also I can build a bond with children very quickly.

That's not the only thing. I am a person who learns things very quickly and I am very open to new things.
