Hello! I'm Laila, I'm 18 and taking a break from school to experience more of the world. I spent 4 months at Højskole in Denmark and am planning to volunteer until summer. Some of my passions include many forms of art, yoga, rock climbing, baking, and traveling! I love spending time in nature, I feel most myself when I'm exploring outdoors. I'm currently traveling Europe and would love the opportunity to leave a positive impact on the places I visit that provide me with inspiration and enlightenment.

I've volunteered a lot throughout my life and have found that it fulfills me unlike anything else I've experienced. I spent two weeks volunteering in the Dominican Republic helping to renovate a school, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. I love meeting new people and learn about different cultures through volunteer work.

I am a creative and hardworking person who is open to everything. I love all types of art and am always excited to learn new things. I have quite a bit of experience volunteering. I have experience taking care of kids as well as farming and gardening. I have great communication skills and work well in a team environment. I love learning new things and meeting new people, so I'm very excited about the opportunities workaway has to offer.
