Hi, I'm this winter and spring in Trondheim on exchange, with some vague plans to work and travel the country after the semester ends.

Description

Hi,
I'm Konstantin, a 23-year-old engineering student from Austria.

The way things (especially nature) work have always interested me, so that's what keeps me going, and what I want to learn more about. Subjects like Climate Change, Flora and Fauna, urban design and quite some more will always have a place in my heart.

Spending time in nature, alone and in company, relaxing or working, familiar and unfamiliar, is a good way for me to get out and have a change of scenery every once in a while. Being open to new things, activites and adventures is also pretty important to me.

I've been around Europe lots with my parents and friends, and I really enjoyed my time as a workawayer in the north of spain, in Asturias and Galicia, and look forward to experience more of this :)

As a person I'm reliable, fast learning and maybe a bit shy, but never a naysayer ;)

My native language is German, though I've been brought up bilingual, my mother's family side speaking Croatian. In school I've learned English (I'd say I'm somewhere between pretty OK and good) and Russian (somewhere above but still close to the bare minimum, not having used it in a long time). In recent years I've taken some courses in both Spanish and Norwegian, and I want to improve on those.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Having been brought up in a single-family home with a garden I've collected various useful skills around maintenance, gardening, and handiwork, like woodworking. Long years as a scout have enhanced some of these abilities, especially in the outdoors, like building a basic shelter.

Also, I'm fit and healthy, having no problems and sometimes even fun when doing (hard) work, but especially doing some sports, like hiking or running.

Spending time around plants (apart from forests/nature in general) is something I like, like tending to my houseplants, or getting my hands dirty in the field. Though I haven't much experience with animals apart from my family's and friends' pets, especially not with "bigger" farm animals, I think that's something I'd enjoy very much.

I grew up with computers, thus having an easy time finding my way around them, as well as different software, from basic Microsoft Office to specialized programs used in my school and academic surroundings.

As for languages: My native language is German, though I've been brought up bilingual, my mother's family side speaks Croatian.
