Description

My mission for life is: Never bound yourself! And that's also the reason I come here and participate in Workaway. Willing to have different journeys and keep being open-minded.

I'm Kailin, a 23-year-old Chinese girl having traveled and been educated in many countries. After graduating with a bachelor's from both China and Australia, a master's in Singapore in May 2023, I felt lost and found out that it should be the time to explore, being closed to nature, arts, language, and culture. I'm in a gap year to find my true passion and connect with the world. I'm now working at a horse ranch in British Columbia (Canada) after work and travel in the United States as a ride operator in an amusement park for 3.5 months and have been traveling in Canada for 4 months.

I've done five Workaway in Canada- two of them with a household in the city in Quebec, one of them in a private property near Vancouver Island, and two of them are farm ranch in British Columbia. I enjoy both approaching new cultures, meeting new people in the city and taking care of and interacting with animals in the countryside.

I picked up skills like cooking, general work around the house, and gardening from past living experience and Workaway experience. I enjoy photography as a hobby.

I'm passionate about learning outdoor skills like taking care of animals, fending, painting, DIY projects, harvesting, carpentry tasks, etc. as well as communication skills when meeting new people.

I'm curious and have an interest in most of the jobs with enthusiasm for learning brand-new things.
