Description

Hi, my name is Kirsty and I live in a small village in the Scottish Highlands. I’m 18 years old and left school last year.

I’ve not done much travelling before but I'm looking forward to experiencing new cultures and learning new skills. I’m mostly interested in childcare and working with animals but I’m open to doing other things as well.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have some experience working with animals due to my family living on a Croft. On our Croft we have ponies, cows, sheep, a dog and a cat. I don’t have loads of experiences with the cows, I’m more comfortable with the ponies and sheep but I’ve learnt a few skills and picked up some things. In school I did a horse-care course where I learnt the basic skills of caring for a horse such as feeding, grooming and mucking out. I’m not confident with my riding yet but I’d love to get more experience with it.

I have a little bit of childcare experience as well. I’ve done some babysitting in the past for families in my village and I also help at my local churches crèche and Sunday school. In school I did a 1 year course on social work where I learnt a lot about childcare and development in babies and children.

I’ve don’t some cottage cleaning with my mum where I picked up a lot of household and cleaning skills.
