Description
Hey I'm Kirsten, I'm a 20 year old University student in Scotland looking to travel this summer with my sister Rebecca! We are looking to take part in workaway experiences to meet and connect with new people, experience new places and help projects and communities with our skills.
We are from Scotland but have lived in London and Canada in the past.
I have done several abroad volunteering experiences working in hostels and on a dark. I have also worked in several customer services roles as a waitress and bartender. I have also taken on greater responsibilities by working full time as a fee earner in a law firm for just under a year. I have done a wide range of volunteering including with the elderly, children, and people with disabilities. These experiences have helped me hone my people skills and made me realise my passion for helping people and being a part of meaningful projects!
My sister Rebecca is keen to travel more and take part in an abroad volunteering experience. She has volunteered on a conservation in Namibia and loved the experience. She also has a range of customer service experience working as waitress and server at football games.
In my spare time I love to make art, write fiction, go hiking, go to the gym, spend time with my family and dogs and read lots!
Rebecca spends her free time creative writing and reading, spending time with her family and friends, learning Spanish and trying new sports. She is currently surfing obsessed!
