Description

I've taken the last 1.5 years as a career break to travel and experience new things. Genuine interactions with new people are the bread and butter of my travel philosophy. I love meeting new people and learning about their own lives, cultures, and dreams.

Over the last 7 months, I've lived in Brisbane and Newcastle working at various roles: Barista at a Donut Shop, Sales Assistant at a Nursery/Plant Shop, & Retail Assistant at a RSPCA Op Shop. I've split my time between hostels and House/Pet Sitting. In my last few months left in Australia, I want to step into the Workaway space as another beautiful new opportunity.

I am so happy when surrounded by nature, and Western Australia has provided stunning nature so far. I'm excited to continue to see new parts of the country!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Previously a project and operations manager for a non-profit, I'm used to wearing many 'digital hats'. My skills include customer service, training, community development from my previous role. I also have experience with animals as an avid dog-sitter and pet lover. I'm happy to be in the garden, working with my hands. I'm good with children as well - with past babysitting for friends and family.

Generally, very hard working and always willing to learn!

I love to explore each new place that I visit to the fullest. I love to play cards (Spades, Hearts, Cambio, you name it!) and other board or tabletop games. I'm an introverted extrovert so understand the balance of people vs. individual time. During COVID quarantine, I picked up many hobbies and was always looking for a new way to fill the time being at home - so am very driven and self-proficient. I love to back and decorate cakes - I had all the tools at home and will probably show you pictures if you're interested. And I love the water - ocean, river, lake, or pool!
