Hello !
I have been using workaway for around three years now, I have had some amazing experiences around the world and I am always looking to make new ones! I have done a large variety of workaways including hostels, homestays, working with horses, childcare and living with a family.
I am very experienced in hostels - this has given me a great base of skills that can be used in most places! I am good at welcoming new people and getting everyone involved, I have also cooked for 20+ people. I have led daily activities and helped behind a bar. I am also used to cleaning and I can do a very good job of it! I have also done a lot of physical work including; building new structures, tree maintenance and removal, painting, basic woodwork. I also have basic outdoor gardening skills, and a large collection of indoor plants that I tend to myself.
I am always looking to build my skill base and learn new techniques from all over the world - I have a particular passion for cooking! I pride myself on being able to pick up new things quickly and I think this makes me a great addition to any workaway as there is always new things to learn and do!
I am happy and comfortable around animals and children, with four years babysitting experience and owning a lovely dog myself. I have lots of backgroud working with horses from having my own loan horse to volunteering at my local stables and teaching kids to ride. I am confident working on the ground with horses and riding.
I speak English as my first language but I am always keen to learn the local language of wherever I am.
I am mostly vegetarian and sometimes I eat locally caught fish, however, I am very comfortable in the kitchen so happy to cook for myself!

First off the campsite location is amazing the beach is easily one of the best we have been too. The work was always fair and varied, never going over 5hrs (Mariglen would always make sure of this) which was really nice, we prepared food together for everyone… read more
They were very helpful and did a wide variety of jobs including looking after the place for a few days while we were away. They were trustworthy.
They adored the animals and we were very comfortable for them to be left in charge.
We wish them well with their continuing Workaway adventures
Staying with Tayip and deborah was a lovely experience. we mostly worked with Tayip and sometimes his cousin on the land; pruning trees, collecting branches, making fires, cleaning the airbnbs/the pool. the work was fair and never too over strenuous. tayip is really cool guy, and will tell you lots about the garden and… read more
