Hi! I'm Katerina, I'm from Thessaloniki, Greece and I am an architecture student. My main passions are being in nature, travelling, the arts, psychology and spirituality. The creative mind humbles and intrigues me. Being around people and learning from them excites me and brings me immense joy. I love working with people who are open minded, learners, and have a lot to offer to this beautiful world! I don't really know what I want to do with my life but what I do know is that I want to give. I have a lot of love inside me and want to offer it whole heartedly and generously to the world and everything it consists of. I've also volunteered and worked for many years at a camp with kids so I am familiar with children and nature and love working among them. I have already been on workaway for a year and have had experiences working in schools, farms, and in general with children. Every experience i had enriched my life so deeply, I truly cannot wait to keep discovering more and more of what each workaway has to offer!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've been around nature my whole life and I love taking care of this planet. I also have had the pleasure of experiencing life off grid, free camping, and van life which are all forms of inhabiting the planet thìat I loved and want to experience even more. A cause that speaks to me is the sustainability and protection of our environment, so working/volunteering in farms, places with nature that include hiking or sea activities are definitely places where I see myself fit. I've also worked a lot with kids and get along great with them. I love learning with and from them because I see them as creatures full of curiosity, wonder and carefreeness since they are so close to the source of life. Other hobbies of mine include many nature activities such as hiking, kayaking, swimming and scuba diving. I've been scuba diving ever since I was 7 and I haven't stopped since. I also love the arts, I love making art especially analog and digital collages, and DIYs and I can never get enough of learning more about any form of art. For my next travels I would love to experience more of life in eco villages, communities, and farmstay. Over the last year through my experiences with farmstay, I discovered how much learning through and about nature truly inspires and connects me to life. I still feel like my knowledge over farm life is limited, but I am very eager to learn and care for this passion of mine. I would love to learn more about responsible and sustainable farming practices, how connected plants and nature are to everything else, and how to use herbs and plants to nurture the body.
