Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I am from Virginia in the United States. Through workaway, my intentions are to expand in knowledge and skills, as well as connect with other souls in environments that are new or unfamiliar. I am excited to experience new countries, cultures, and lifestyles :)
I'm motivated by opportunities to connect with myself, nature, and animals.
I'm interested in mindful living and personal growth. I regularly practice meditation, shadow work, and mindfulness, as well as other tools to support those. I intend to expand my spiritual practices and prioritize/integrate them more.
I have been vegetarian for 3 years. I don't have a ton of experience with cooking, but I enjoy it and am open to doing it more. That being said, I am open to learning any new skills so I can help however I can.
I dislocated my shoulder a few years ago and have a permanent lesion from it so I have to be mindful about my right arm's range. The only thing it has prevented me from doing since I healed has been dead hangs from bars at the gym, so other than that sort of thing it shouldn't limit.
I am looking forward to new experiences and connecting with others!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am comfortable with common household tasks like cleaning, laundry, food prep/cooking (with a recipe), and organization. I am happy to learn/improve on new skills or ones that I am less familiar with such as gardening, building projects, etc. I also enjoy photography and am very familiar with social media + how people receive information that spreads on social media. I love to draw, paint, and do other crafts. I speak fluent English, and I know some basic phrases in Spanish and German but I have not experienced full immersion in either of those languages so I wouldn't yet feel comfortable somewhere that doesn't speak fluent English. However, I'm still open and excited to learn new languages :)
