Hello! I am a traveler from United States, Michigan. I am passionate about photography and received my Bachelor's of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University. My workaway experiences range from working on a fruit farm in Hawaii to helping out at a hostel in Ecuador. I am currently in Thailand and interested in helping with any photography/ art projects and I am also interested in wellness retreats. Send me a message if interested! I'd love to chat :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied photography while in school and shortly after became a product photographer for an online consignment shop. However, my passion and expertise lie in portrait, fine art, and travel photography. My work can be viewed at https://rode-photography.com/!
I also have a ton of experience in childcare, as I worked as a nanny for five years. I love kids and I find caring for others is the most awarding experience a person can have. My work as a nanny included transportation, playtime, meals, bathing, and bedtime. I often found myself feeling a part of the family unit and it is something I have missed as I have been focusing more on my photography.
In addition to art, and childcare, I have recently gained experience in farming. The past six weeks I spent on a raw vegan farm on the Island of Hawai'i where our mornings were spent weeding, machete in hand, planting, harvesting fruit, etc. I wouldn't say I'm a professional but I learned a lot of new skills!

I am a really upbeat, positive thinker, and I love new experiences and people! My favorite thing in the world is sharing a laugh and I want to do that in as many places and languages as possible!
