Olá! I'm João, a 24-year-old who just finished my studies in Mechanical Engineering. I’m using this time to travel, connect with new people, and learn about different ways of life.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the chance to live abroad for a long time, seven years in Colombia during high school and two years in the Netherlands for my Master’s. These experiences taught me a lot about adapting to new environments. I’ve also done volunteer work focused on nature and community projects, mostly working with children.

I’d describe myself as an adaptable and social person, but I also enjoy a calm environment. In my free time, I love surfing, reading, and traveling. I’m also interested in photography (but still learning).

I’m looking for authentic experiences where I can help out and immerse myself in the local culture. I speak Portuguese, English, and Spanish fluently, and I’m happy to share my language skills or help with daily tasks :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I come from a large family with many children, so I’m very comfortable in busy households and enjoy being around kids. I have significant experience in community work and have also spent time as a math tutor, so I’m happy to help with childcare or teaching.

Having lived abroad for several years, I am very used to adapting to new environments and cultures. I am fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I'm always happy to help with translations or language practice.

I enjoy DIY projects and working with my hands. I’m a quick learner when it comes to practical skills and I’m always keen to help with repairs, maintenance, or any physical tasks.
