Bonjour! We are Justine and Bastien, a young couple from the South of France who loves travelling and meeting new people. Easygoing and friendly, we love discovering different cultures and sharing moments of life with other people, playing, dancing, and eating together! After backpacking for 7 months in Australia and Asia, we are now looking for volunteering experiences where we can help and develop deeper connection with the people who host us. As southeners living on the Mediterranean sea, we value slow pace, connection with the nature and the sea and of course eating good food!
Justine is a curious and sensitive traveler. She loves culture, the arts (cinema, theatre, literature, music, going to museums), learning languages, cooking and eating good meals. She could spend her day at the beach, swimming and exploring. She also loves to dance! As she worked in the art domain, she likes to try manual activities such as knitting, painting, doing pottery, making collage etc. She also likes yoga (although she begins) and relaxing moments.
Bastien is an energetic and funny guy who loves nature, sports (especially football), hiking, the mountains and being outdoor or in the water, snorkelling and being amazed by the sea world. He loves animals and the fauna and flora. He is always down to try out new things like surfing, collective sports etc, in order to make memories and enjoy with others. He has been working as a landscape gardener for 2 years and is eager to learn different gardening techniques to gain more skills, in particular regarding sustainable methods. He believes South America is a great place to do so.
Justine is fluent in English and can speak Spanish but would love to improve! Bastien can speak basic English but wants to learn more and learn Spanish too. We would love to teach you French language and French culture. We also love to play with kids and to care for pets!

Justine taught French to kids for a year and a half in Canada. She knows how to interact with them and make them learn easily through fun activities like cooking, acting/drama, doing sports etc. As she studied English language for 6 years and her classes were all in that same language, she can help others to improve their level in English, their conversation skills, accents and vocabulary!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Justine graduated with a Master's in English language and cultural studies. She is fluent in English and can teach the language to kids. She has experience with kids as she was an au pair for a year and a half in Canada, where she daily took care of three children and taught them French. Then, she can teach French and French culture through activities or recipes. She now works in culture and has finished a job in a contemporary art organisation where she accompanied artists and helped setting up art exhibitions.
She is also very handy and willing to help with small constructions, painting, gardening, cooking. She can teach you French recipes
Bastien is a landscape gardener, he can take care of the garden and do general maintenance. He loves playing with kids (and adults!) or doing sports with them, as a way to connect beyong language barrier. He can also do small constructions (any type)!
