Hello friends! My name is Juliette (29), I'm a Franco-Argentine woman currently searching for my place in this beautiful world :) I studied science for over 11 years and earned my doctoral degree in neuroscience last year. However, I've always had a deep love for art, especially drawing, painting, and pottery, and I've taken several short art courses over the years. Painting is my passion, and I truly enjoy sharing this activity with others as much as having my own creative moments ❤️
I'm also a big fan of pets, especially dogs, as I've always been surrounded by animals since childhood. After finishing my PhD, I decided it was time to explore the world... I spent a year in Australia working and traveling, and after my Aussie adventure, I traveled around Southeast Asia for 2 months. During this time, I tried diving for the first time—an unforgettable experience! Since then, I’ve been dreaming about that incredible blue world I discovered and wondering when I’ll have the chance to dive again...
I've just arrived in France with the hope of settling down a little, improving my French, and eventually finding a professional job :)Centres d’intérêt

I am a native Spanish speaker and would be delighted to teach my language to anyone interested in learning or improving their skills. I also have a strong command of French and English, allowing me to communicate fluently. However, I am eager to practice both languages further, to refine my pronunciation and continue improving.Compétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
From my professional experience in Argentina to my adventure in Australia, I have developed a diverse range of skills, including teaching (science and art), babysitting, housekeeping, and hospitality (barista and waitress), all detailed below:
Teaching
I have a deep passion for teaching. In Argentina, I worked as a university teacher for four years, teaching Biochemistry to medical students. I also volunteered with charitable organizations, specifically supporting children in vulnerable situations... As a children literacy tutor, I learned how to create engaging activities to build trust with the children and introduce them to reading and writing through methods such as interactive storytelling, word games, book discussions and role-playing.
When I moved to Australia, I worked as an art instructor for Paint & Sip workshops for adults. This was an incredibly fun and rewarding experience where I taught painting and ceramics in a bar setting. My role involved creating a model piece for participants to follow, guiding them step by step through techniques and color choices so they could proudly take home their artwork.
Babysitting and Housekeeping
I also worked as a babysitter and housekeeper for a wonderful australian family with three children (12, 10, 8). Over five months, my responsibilities included general house cleaning, caring for the children and their dog, helping with homework, cooking, and organizing outdoor activities. Additionally, I worked with families needing occasional childcare for a day or night (ask me to see my references available on my babysits app profile!). Babysitting comes naturally to me, perhaps because I am the eldest of four sisters with a significant age gap. It’s always a pleasure to care for children and contribute to their daily lives. 😊
Hospitality
Australia was a big challenge for me as I had to quickly adapt to new jobs and tasks. I started working as a waitress, until I earned the trust of my managers, who taught me how to make coffee. I went from knowing almost nothing about it to work as a barista, which opened up new opportunities for me in hospitality.
Handicrafts and DIY
I have always been passionate about handicrafts and DIY projects. Since I was a child, I’ve loved creating things with my hands. This creative outlet has been a source of joy for me :)Âge

Autres infos...
I am a calm, organized person with a positive energy who enjoys learning new things every day. Coming from a big family, I love being surrounded by people and sharing meaningful moments, but I also value my own quiet space to recharge. I love baking... I take great care of my nutrition, so I always try to create healthy recipes. I limit refined sugar and flour, and ensure a good protein balance (for example, I enjoy making protein-packed cakes). I’m constantly exploring new topics and improving myself through online courses and personal development. Whether it’s trying new activities, meeting new people, or immersing myself in different cultures, I’m always eager to grow and contribute with an open mind and enthusiasm!
