Hi!

My name si Julie, Im 19 years old and I'm from the Czech republic. Traveling solo has always been a thing I wanted to try. Alone on an adventure, exploring new cities and places, admire nature, meet new people, connect and at the same time disconnect, discover different mindsets, different points of view, various cultures and inspiring lifestyles.

I did some volunteering in humanitarian agency ADRA, mainly as being a company to eldery people. I also volunteered on some events of one environmental organisation focused on sustainibility (where I also learned to scythe). Volunteering carries such a beautiful message - help someone who needs it just for the act of helping, with no reward expected. Of course, in this case you as a volunteer also have some benefits from it. But I still think it is a wonderful thing to do, becuase it brings people together in a meaningful way.

I have a lot of interests. I love nature - I love hiking or just simply being in nature. I like biology, chemistry, physics and math, basically all natural sciences. I am keen on art and philosophy. I love languages. I love to read and to write, I love to do yoga and meditate. Generally I love to learn more about the world, people and the essence of life itself.

Here Im looking for opportunities to volunteer abroad and learn new things about sustainable living, vegetarianism/veganism, animal care and living in stronger connection with nature and people. I would like to get better in English, French, Spanish and German. My level of French is B2. My level of English is around B2/C1. I'm a beginner in Spanish and German. I would also like to meet new people, spend time working outside on fresh air and learn new practical skills.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Im native Czech, so I can share my own language. I also speak English quite well and French (intermediate). I love cooking and baking. I have tried many recipes from different cuisines. For example Indian (Murgh Makhani, Kheer, Paneer, Naan), French (Boeuf bourguignon, Soupe a loignon, Quiche Lorraine) or Mexican (Chilli con carne, Quesadilla, Tres Leches cake) and much more. I like gardening, but I dont have much experience, only with helping my grandfather or taking care of school flowerbed. I know how to scythe but Im not very good at it :-) I can play the guitar and flute. I can braid yout hair, if you want :-)
