Helloo there :)
My name is Julia, I'm a 24-year old Geography student and love to go travelling, adventuring and volunteering whenever I have time off my studies.
Over the past years I've been able to do Workaways in many different countries like Guatemala, Nicaragua, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Sri Lanka and Nepal and it´s been some of my favourite experiences! The places I´ve been to, the projects I was part of and most importantly the people I shared this time with, have broadened my horizon immensely and taught me so much! I'm so excited to make some more memories and connect with amazing people along the way!

Childcare and Teaching
I have lots of experience working with kids as I have been babysitting and tutoring for many years. I am also a TEFL certified English teacher, I have given beginners English classes in different countries and have been teaching German to migrant women in Austria. An amazing experience was volunteering at a child development center in Guatemala, organising activities and teaching English.

Agriculture
I have some experience in organic agriculture as I have worked on multiple farms before and have helped out at an urban agriculture project in my city.

And...
In recent workaways I have done pretty much all kinds of random handy work in different Workaway projects, from small repairs to carpentry to painting. I would say I am a quick learner and I am always very interested in learning new things. I´d love to learn more about construction and carpentry. I also enjoy doing artistic projects like painting or other crafts.

I am always happy with any task and have no problem with getting my hands dirty!

I stayed here for 2,5 weeks and I really loved my stay there! There are always many foreign as well as local volunteers so you’ll have a wonderful community to share the work, food, and free time with! I spent 3 weeks at this project and it was a wonderful experience! It is quite remote, in the most beautiful valley surrounded by lush green mountains. I spent 4 weeks at this farm and had a great experience! I had never worked in agriculture before and enjoyed it a lot!
