Hi there, It's Joaquim, nice to meet you. About myself, I come from Calella, Spain. I have worked in hospitality industry for some years. As a waiter, bartender, cleaner, assistant manager, restaurant Manager and Director of the Hotel for the last years. I love my job, thus nevertheless, I need some breaks once in a while. As a hobby, I enjoy a lot the nature, everything related to a farm, countryside living, I am animal lover, as well as plants, trees and sustainability.

Five years ago, I took a year off. During that year I travelled the whole world, Asia, Oceania and South America. A dream came true. I was traveling solo while I was doing some volunteering. Most of them were about permacuIture projects and helping in some ecological farms and eco-hostels. I loved to know about remote cultures and meet new people and exchange culture and knowledge. I also had learned some french on the way.

Now, I am planning my next year "off", and I have a goal. To learn German, (right now my level is so basic), for that reason I am looking for an experience in a german spoken country. I am planning to start for the winter season. I got to say, I always have loved mountains, and winter sports. (my last two winters I had worked in Andorra). And after the winter season, I will see how long I would extend my stay. In one year ( November 2024) I would love to find a new job, I will be focus to get it in the Canary Islands.

I consider myself an easygoing guy, friendly and hard worker, always thinking positive about any situation. I have worked in different countries and continents with many different cultures. I am able to do any task and any role it is asked happily: housekeeper, bartending, washing dishes, cooking. I am Flexible, I already have done any kind of job in an Hotel or farm. I will be happy to share all my knowledge and experience anytime.

I am looking for place I can enjoy what I am doing, While I can practice and learn my german a bit daily. A place where I can enjoy the area and surroundings as well. I love to do some sport daily, if they are outdoors, the better.

I am looking forward to share experiences and have fun.
