Hi everyone, my name is Jemima, I am 23 years old, and I live in the UK. I have recently graduated from a degree in Geography and Politics and am soon starting a masters degree in Human Rights Law. I really love to learn about new cultures and meet new people. I am interested in working with NGOs and feel passionate about working with people and offering my skills to meaningful projects.

I am interested in being able to use my Spanish and develop my knowledge of the language through speaking. I have also just started to learn Arabic and would be interested in volunteering that enables me to develop this too.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I really enjoy working with people and have experience working with people in challenging circumstances. I have experience as a volunteer working with refugees and asylum seeking individuals and families as well as experience working with children of varying ages. Throughout my volunteering experiences I have taught English and Spanish and helped vulnerable people build confidence within the community through fostering community integration and skill enhancing activities.

I am a bubbly person and love to have fun. Having grown up in a large family I enjoy sociable environments and creating inclusive opportunities so that everyone can enjoy themselves. I enjoy playing board games, card games, and am always up for learning new things! I also enjoy reading and being in nature, as well as baking and learning new skills. A huge interest of mine is travel and I enjoy travelling with others as well as travelling solo. I travelled around South America at the end of 2023 and have explored lots of Europe and I always enjoy seeking new adventures!
