Hello good people ~
I’m an outgoing person who loves working with people and being active outdoors in nature. I'm looking for opportunities that help build community through teaching and mentoring, or caring for others. I also enjoy leading activities that involve cooking, the arts, creativity and play, and physical fitness and exercises such as swimming, hiking, games, and calisthenics. I also enjoy painting and general physical labour outdoors such as gardening and cleaning.

Things I love: coffee, cooking, backpacking, swimming, jazz clubs, art, yoga, prayer/meditation, learning languages, reading/literature, and cycling around cities. I can be a perfectionist when I need to be, but I'm not a robot, I enjoy people. I'm drawn to minimalism/simplicity and high quality.

I'm a licensed professional teacher (UK, QTS).

I love working with languages, especially happy to teach English to learners at various levels. I'm always wanting to improve my Italian since I'm a citizen yet English is my mother tongue. Wherever I end up, I try to take on as much of the local language as possible.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Sometimes it can take a long time to learn new skills and truly grow as a person, regardless of one's situation in life. So patience, compassion, and a sense of humour are personal traits that I bring to all of the work I do. I feel the most fulfilled when I'm working towards the betterment of others.

Activities & work capabilities:
– Dual national (Italy and USA) with ILR in the UK. (I'm really good at navigating bureaucracy)
– BA, MFA, and postgrad research in music, theatre, and education. Extensive work experience with video direction, copywriting, speech presentations and coaching, creative directing (story writing and consulting).
– Licensed teacher (QTS in UK and USA) for schools or families needing child support and tutoring / mentorship. I've taught in public schools in both countries and have experience volunteering teaching English in Algeria and Japan.
– I have co-directed theatre workshops in refugee camps across Berlin (2015).
– Avid outdoorsman, can lead hikes and camping trips, swimming instruction
– Experienced movement and yoga practice
– Barista and chef (have worked in cafe's and restaurants)
– I really enjoy grunt work such as cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, weeding the garden, and running errands.
