***About us***

Friendly multilingual family looking to make great connections and new experiences in Spain.

We are packing up our life in the Uk and heading for an adventure in Spain. We are downsizing to a campervan, home schooling our children (2 &3) and just looking to go with the flow.

We would love to find hosts who could help us with Spanish, bonus if you also speak German as I am native and would love to teach the kids more German.

We are looking for a unique set up really, somewhere for the kids to connect with nature, where they can be hands on too, maybe help in the garden or with animals. I am good with my hands and DIY. Looking for somewhere we can integrate and be part of a team, happy to help with childcare as I’ll be looking after my own at the same time! So they could be buddies and learn from each other.

Rich can speak French, a little Spanish, Urdu and a little German. He’s very knowledgable and great conversation.

We LOVE animals and will be travelling with our incredibly brilliant dog, Nova, she is big, but docile, incredible with children (she’s just not that bothered, but will play with them a little more that they are bigger and not so delicate) she is incredibly emotionally intelligent, is very well socialised and can make friends with any dog! We are super lucky and have trained her very well, she is truly a credit to our family and a joy to be around. She does however get excited about horses and livestock, she has never hurt an animal, is merely interested in playing with them but I know this can be problematic, we’ve just not had a chance to socialise her around livestock as we haven’t had the opportunity, maybe you can help us? I am a passionate trainer and would be confident to help her learn how to behave around animals if the opportunity arose and someone trusted us to do so. We would never let her off the lead if there was any doubt that she wouldn’t behave accordingly. She is fine with cats if they are introduced properly.

We have 2 cats who will stay in our camper and on leads if they are outside of the camper (unless we stay somewhere longer than two week, which we would like to do if the opportunity arises) .

So we are a full house! It’s going to be mad! But we want to make this work, and just go on a crazy adventure.

It would be super to find a family we can trust and vice verca, where there could be an opportunity of swapping babysitting duties so Rich and myself could go for a meal maybe once in a blue moon. It’s not a priority but one can dream. 😂

**What we do**

I do photography/videography and will be taking my camera with us to snap special moments but there’s also opportunity for collaborations if you need promo work/videos for anything I’d be happy to help with that! I did acting in university so can also help with those kinds of performing arts.

We are big on all kinds of music! Jazz, bossa, Afro house, dnb, left field house and everything in between. Rich plays bongos very well, he can also play the trumpet.

Rich runs music events and we are both dj’s. Multi genre, we will be taking our decks and speakers with us so we can record in beautiful locations for YouTube (this is a project I have in mind) . Always mindful and respectful of our surroundings of course but if you want to throw a party we will be happy to help! 🫡.

**Our interests **

We LOVE food. I’d love to get more knowledgeable at growing my own vegetables and fruits etc. learning to cook traditional cuisine would really warm my heart.

We both love yoga, mindfulness and exercise. We train, weights and I like hill sprinting. Not big on running but I don’t mind a hike up the mountains.

I like to sew and will also be bringing my sewing machine.

Being creative is a big part of lives so we want to incorporate that through learning for our children. Big into Montessori etc.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Jamina has been doing photography for over 5 years. I can direct, shoot and edit all myself, photography and videography. Quite skilled in managing social media pages, Rich runs an Instagram with over 70k followers and another with around 10k for his music events. He’s been putting on music events for nearly 20 years.

I love cooking, I can paint well, and have general knowledge of tools as my father is in the building trade and I always wanted to come along when I was younger. So I’d say together we would be really handy to have around. The children will bring the vibes. They are incredibly fun and curious, intelligent and love getting involved. Really can’t wait to show them the world… but first, Spain.
