Description
I am a teacher who works internationally. While I enjoy my 2-legged little friends, I am taking a year off to dedicate myself to other passion and refill my bucket. While I am home, I am volunteering at the animal shelter. My interest is helping animals and the environment. These 2 interests make me happy, fulfilled, and help me to be more empathetic, giving, and understanding.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a masters degree in education and have spent the majority of my adult life working abroad. I am used to working with others, students, parents, and coworkers, with backgrounds and nationalities different from my own. I am certified to teach preschool through grade 8 and English as an Additional Language. I have a good rapport with children.
I have completed 100 hours of Yoga teacher training and have taught yoga to children as an after school activity. I enjoy sports and lifting weights, but hope to spend more time outside. I am strong and healthy, rarely, if ever, calling in sick. My work ethic is strong and I will do what is necessary to complete tasks to the absolute best of my ability.
I have been a vegetarian for over 25 years and a vegan for the last 6 years for animal welfare reasons. I love animals and want to learn more about them and how to protect them. I donate to a variety of animal charities, my favorite is my home state of Louisiana, is Chimp Haven.
I am keen to learn more about social media as I see it as a means of generating attention for organizations that rely on public support. I hope to hone my skills on creating captivating content for Instagram and Facebook. I am currently making a webpage using google sites for prospective employers. I am not super tech savvy but I am learning and evolving in my skills.
I am a good public speaker, having lectured, given professional development, and regularly interact with parents regarding their most priced possessions, their children.

Currently obsessed with the Amazon and hope to travel there next year. I want to learn more about snakes. I read a lot, mostly nonfiction. I am creative and can come up with interesting ideas. I do a lot of yard work at my parent’s and sister’s house.
