Hello! My name is Jackson! I am currently teaching English in Istanbul (since February 11). I will be in Turkey until the beginning of April
I love adventure and travel. I love living in the moment. Being outside in nature, hiking, walking, swimming, cooking, exercise, yoga, meditation, exploring, and learning about new cultures brings me happiness. I am very positive and happy person. I love waking up with the sunrise!
I love southern Europe and the Mediterranean sea. I am from Myrtle Beach, USA. I grew up by the Atlantic ocean and love being by the sea. I love swimming, tanning, and walking on the beach. Last fall, I did a solo backpacking trip for 21 days in Italy! I loved every day that I spent in Italy. I practiced the language, conversed with locals, and learned so much about the culture. I would love a cultural & language exchange. I love exploring the city, all the museums, art, history, and churches.
I am very conscious about health and fitness. I love cooking and I would love to learn new recipes and cook with people. I make my own pizza, bread, ice cream, and so many recipes. I love passeggiata after dinner and lots of walking throughout the day. I only drink red wine occasionally and I do not smoke. I would love to learn about gardening and farming, especially olive oil and fruit! I would like to learn so I could eventually have my own garden

I am a native English speaker. I have a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of South Carolina and graduated a year early! I can teach English and practice with people
I worked on the beach for two summers in Myrtle Beach as a lifeguard
I have lots of experience of outdoor work and cleaning. I am a very clean person. Used to work with my father outdoors; building fences, painting, planting seeds, making garden beds, and lots of yardwork.
I had a small balcony in my apartment and have various plants and flowers (basil is my favorite!). I use the fresh basil for pizza and fresh pesto. I make my own dough for bread and pizza, homemade ice cream, cannoli, cookies, and sauces
