Hello, my name is Jack and I recently got my BS in marine biology :D. Looking to travel and meet new friends in a new chapter of my life. I enjoy landscaping and aquascaping to provide a better quality of life for local flora and fauna, all while enjoying the company of others and having new experiences.

Plant and coral care, vertebrate mammal+ non mammalian care, experience maintaining enclosed ecosystems, etc.
Able bodied, can work in several types of environments and weather and can lift heavy items. Intuitive, experience operating many types of heavy homesteading equipment.
Excellent cook and conversationalist. Friendly, clean, and attentive to details.
Lifelong marine biologist, comfortable in and around water and watercraft. -

I will be in New Zealand starting mid September 2026 on a work holiday scheme. I would like to find housing and a job that pertains to my degree in or around Christchurch but would like to do a workaway experience or two first to be able to dip my toe into a country and culture I've never been to before.
