Description
Hi, I'm Iona from Leipzig in Eastern Germany. I just finished
my bachelor's degree in Psychology and will now spend half a year traveling. In 2019 I was travelling through the Balkan countries, Denmark and working on a festival. Then I went on to Israel to volunteer in Haifa, where I worked with elderly people and in a kindergarden/nursery. I've already had wonderful previous workaway experiences in Bornholm, Denmark and Antwerp, Belgium and am exited to add more to the list! I love being outdoors (especially hiking), reading and cooking (and afterwards ahring) delicious food. Can't wait to meet a lot of inspiring people!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I'm very good with dogs/animals in general, I did some babysitting in the past and worked with younger students for 4 years (helping with homework etc.), I worked with children age 0-6 in a kindergarden/nursery, I have experience working with elderly people, I have worked in a restaurant for half a year as a waitress and in gastronomy from a festival summer job, I can cook (mostly vegetarian/vegan) and do general housework- but generally I am open to any kind of work! In my previous workaway I also did lots of gardening work/weeding and cleaning inside and outside the house. Also from a previous volunteering place I have some experience building with natural materials and I'd love to get to know more in that field!

Making delicious food, looking after our new little plants & greatly appreciated her help with daily house duties.
Plus her courage to swim in the cold sea!!
