Helloo!
My name is Inês, my boyfriend's name is Micael, and we are from Portugal.
I was working as a Lawyer in Porto until I decided, along with Micael, to take a break from work and have an one year experience abroad. For that, we chose the beautiful country of New Zealand.
We are motivated by making a difference in someone elses day- whether by our work or just by making someone smile.
We consider ourselves fun, empathic and sensitive people to be around. We love getting to know different people and different cultures.
Some of the things that brings us joy are reading a great book, taking a swim in the ocean, spending time with the ones we love, and eating a good plate of food.
We are pretty outdoorsy people. We love hiking and going to the beach.

Inês: I love to learn new languages! I am fluent in English and Portuguese, and I am interested in teaching my mother-tongue (pt) to anyone interested.Micael: I am not very fluent in English (I struggle a bit). However, one of my goals is to improve my English, and I already started English classes.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Inês: I am a Lawyer with great communication and organizational skills. I have experience with volunteering, as during my degree I was part of a UN organization for gender equality and more recently I volunteered in legal support for victims.
Besides that, I'm passionate about nature and I really want to learn more about plants, flowers and crops. As I love being around children and babies, I consider myself caring, compassionate, and patient.
I am a fast learner and put my heart and soul into everything I do.

Micael: I have a degree in Business Management. I am always thinking about different and new ideas and projects, and I consider myself an entrepreneur by heart.
I love creative projects and woodwork. Since I helped my best friend build a physiotherapy's clinic from the ground up, I have great experience using tools. I am someone with a hands-on way of doing things, and I love to learn new skills and to be challenged to do something.
During my free time, I like hiking in a natural environment, going to the beach and driving to explore different scenarios.
I am focused and a great listener.

As a couple, we share a lot of interests. For example, we love to be out in the nature and to explore new beaches. We (equally) like too binge some Netflix and go out for a nice dinner.
Since we come from a country that is part of the Old World of wine, we also like to taste and enjoy a glass of wine here and there. Micael can tell you all about portuguese wine- he had his own company of port wine ice cream!
Our favorite hobbie is to talk to eachother :)
