We are looking for people who want a communal life without dogmas and on the way to self-sufficiency, preferably with animals. We want to come in touch with such people, get to know each other,connect

Description

We are Ina and Christian and we are in our 40ies. We left Austria in 2017 to live a self-determined life. First we travelled through Asia and Europe, helping out at friends' houses in exchange for room and food. Then we emigrated to Paraguay. We bought 3 hectares of land there and built up a new existence. Based on the ideas of permaculture, we had a lot to do there to integrate a functioning ecological system. At the beginning of 2021, after a total of 4 years, we sold all our possessions again in order to travel again. We love travelling because we always meet such great people. You learn a lot from each other and support each other in difficult times.

Now, after this adventurous journey, we know what we were looking for. We want a place where we can live a meaningful life together with other people. In harmony with nature and the seasons. Respecting the individuality of those living together in mutual respect and tolerance.

I, Ina, love animals. I grew up with cats and dogs and in Paraguay I fulfilled my big wish of having donkeys. We also had lots of fowls, cats and 2 dogs (male Rottweiler and female French shepherd). I like to watch the water and the fire and I like to observe what is happening around me. I laugh a lot and like to laugh, preferably in the circle of dear people.

I, Christian, am a very open type, very sociable, I am very creative and like to work with natural materials. I love to learn new things and could also try out many new things on our property in Paraguay and often learn to find creative solutions to problems. I am a team player but can also work very well alone, I am helpful and like to cook .

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I, Ina, have acquired many housewifely skills in Paraguay. I learned there how to preserve food, for example through fermentation. In general, I am very interested in this topic. I like baking bread, cooking soups, pizza and casseroles. I don't mind cleaning and I also like to work in the garden. Here I have also acquired some garden knowledge. I like herbs best. But my favorite thing to do is look after animals. i can learn a lot from animals, like in Paraguay from our donkey and fowls. Animals help me do ground myself and get out of my thoughts. i can feed them, muck out the stablesa and take care of them. But I still want to learn a lot here too.

I, Christian, like to work with wood and have, for example, built all our furniture in Paraguay myself, I am very solution-oriented. I can do a bit of everything ( electrical, masonry, water installations etc. ) I can handle most tools ( power scythe, power saw, lawn mower ). So rather an all-rounder. I am very creative. In Paraguay I built a snail shower out of natural stones. I made a big mosaic in our bathroom.
I put up several 100m fences, repaired fences.
Built a chicken coop, created a banana circle for our grey water, made terra preta and propagated EM myself.

We have made many important and transformative decisions in our lives because the urge for a fulfilling and meaningful life is very strong within us. After a few attempts, we now know what we are looking for. We want to live in a community in harmony with nature. Where people support each other and are there for each other. Where people try to respond to each other and where there is space for personal development and, if desired, support for this in the group. Nevertheless, our privacy is also important to us and working together in the garden, with animals, in and around the house, ... All in all, living a self-determined, self-sustainable, responsible life together
