Description

Connecting with kind-hearted people who share the same values and outlook on life is really important to me. I like to keep an open mind to people from all walks of life and I’ll always do my best to respect and support everyone, especially those from more marginalised communities.

I also get huge joy and pleasure from learning and feeling like I can be of use to people around me. There are very few things that bring me more happiness than diving into both of these things at once!

When it comes to my skills and abilities, I have a range of experiences that I believe make me a valuable addition to any hosting community. Firstly, I have a good command of Spanish and am fluent in English, allowing me to communicate effectively in both languages.

Music is a passion of mine, and I have developed proficiency in playing multiple instruments, such as the bassoon, piano, and tenor saxophone. This musical inclination allows me to contribute to the creative and artistic aspects of any community.

In addition, I thoroughly enjoy capturing beautiful moments through photography, particularly with my friends as subjects. I also possess some background knowledge in website creation and design, which could be utilized in supporting digital initiatives within the community.

Furthermore, I have experience in gardening, having dedicated my time to tending to my grandparents' garden. This experience has provided me with practical knowledge and an appreciation for the nurturing and upkeep of green spaces.

Throughout my journey, I have actively engaged in various organizational committees, where I successfully organized fundraisers and volunteered for numerous events. These experiences have strengthened my skills in event planning, coordination, and teamwork.

In terms of personal qualities, I consider myself a quick thinker who can adapt to new situations and challenges with ease. Additionally, I value the importance of being a good listener, which enables me to understand and respond effectively to the needs of others.

Overall, I am enthusiastic about embracing new challenges and continuously expanding my skill set. I believe that my diverse range of experiences, coupled with my willingness to contribute and collaborate, make me a strong candidate for integration into your hosting community!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading semi-autobiographical or real-life inspired books. Recently, I've taken up knitting and find it incredibly fulfilling to create useful items and little knickknacks for my loved ones. Additionally, I start my mornings by learning Spanish, French, Swahili, and Japanese on Duolingo. These hobbies bring me joy and allow me to explore different cultures and expand my skills. :)
