Hiiii, I’m Ida!

I am 18 years old and finished my Abitur (A-levels) this summer. I’ve spent the last few months working to save up some money, and now I’m finally ready to go out there, explore the world, and get to know new cultures and languages. I would love to spend the last months of my Gap year travelling the world and making memories that last forever.

A little bit about me: I would consider myself a pretty active person. I love all sorts of sports, adventuring, going for long walks with my dog as well as driving my motorcycle.

Back home, I spend a lot of time with my dog, Wilma. I’m really used to being around dogs and taking care of them, so I’d be more than happy to help out with yours too!

Family is absolutely everything to me, so I really value a warm and welcoming environment. I’m the kind of person who truly enjoys spending quality time together, whether it's over a shared meal, game night, or just being present in the daily household life. I’ve always gotten along great with kids. I have two little cousins, and through them, I’ve learned a lot about how to handle children. I really enjoy spending time with them and bringing a bit of good energy and a positive vibe to the house.

I absolutely love cooking! At home, I’m basically the "personal chef" for my family. I’m always experimenting with new recipes and flavours, and I’d love to bring that energy to your kitchen. Generally, I’m someone who loves trying out new things and I am always eager to learn more.

When it comes to work, I am a real team player but I’m also very reliable when working on my own. I’m happy to take on responsibility and complete tasks independently. Communication is key for me: I would love to hear your own stories and experiences that you have made.

I am fluent in German and English, and I know the basics of French and Italian from school. I’m a fast learner, easy-going, and ready to help wherever I can.

I’m a really open and friendly person and I enjoy being around people of all ages, whether we're just chatting or I'm helping out with something. I always try my best and just love being helpful. I'm honestly just super excited to meet new people and pick up new skills along the way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m quite a hands-on person and a fast learner, so I’m happy to help out with whatever needs doing. I have a experience with dogs from looking after my own and I’m also really comfortable with kids since I’ve spent so much time with my two little cousins and other smaller children in the family.

At home, I do a lot of the cooking and I am responsible for keeping my room and the living room area tidy and clean, so I’m more than happy to take over in the kitchen and be a helping hand in the house.

I’m a reliable worker, I enjoy being part of a team but I’m also totally fine taking on tasks by myself and just getting things done. I get along with pretty much everyone and love meeting new people.
Whether it’s helping in the house or with the languages I speak (German, English, and some basic French and Italian), I always try my best to be a great help and I hope to be a support to you :)
