About me...
Recently the rules changed, and I just made the cut to get my last working holiday visa in the UK before I turn 35!
I’m looking to further expand my UK experience, learn some new skills and make some great friends and memories.
I grew up within the dairy farming community of Aotearoa New Zealand and left home to begin my hairdressing career not knowing it would then take me travelling the world!
I left NZ at 22 and lived in Australia and Canada along with travelling to a few other places along the way. I was working aboard a ship around Europe and the Med when covid hit so I disembarked and headed back to NZ.
Over the last 4 years I have been embracing my home country after being away for so long, left mainstream hairdressing and started study acquiring a Diploma of Health Science, diving deep into myself, learning of te ao Māori wisdom, the history of Aotearoa New Zealand and its effect on the country today, working on my side hustles including chiropractic assistant/receptionist, babysitting, hairdressing, gardening, general work around friends properties and of course adventuring and exploring my own back yard.
I arrived in the U.K in October and have been house sitting, volunteering and working my way up North and am now in Scotland.
I love the outdoors, learning new skills, cooking, arty things, children, being a part of a team, helping others, down time on my own and am not afraid to get my hands dirty and dig into a good project!
