Description

A couple from Hong Kong, Alaska (she, 27) and Niksen (he, 27). We have a curious mind and love exploring and discovering new things around us. We are spending a year(April 2026-2027) in the Netherlands with a working holiday visa. We are slow-to-warm-up introverts, but still love meeting new people! We are new workawayers!

Alaska
I am a beach lover, and love outdoor activities, watching sunrises and sunsets, and hiking. I cherish human connection; I love listening to life stories and engaging in cultural exchanges. I had volunteered in Poland and met some ppl from all around the world. As a human services professional and a mental wellness advocate, to live authentically is my highest priority:)

Niksen
I am a movie and Mahjong lover. YOLO is my motto, learning something new and having fun are my fuels for life. One more thing, I am a huge fan of Doraemon, and I want to be as resourceful as Doraemon, carrying the solution to every challenge right in my pocket.

About Us
In our hometown, Hong Kong, we both have worked in the social welfare sector for a couple of years. We served children and youth from ages 6-24. We enjoyed being with the kids and playing with them. We used to design activities and put on party costumes to let the kids have a fun, memorable moment.

We are fluffy animal lovers! From house cats(we have one) and dogs to the wild cuteness of red pandas, meerkats and sea otters, we do not have a chance to be around them, but we adore them nonetheless.
