I'm on a big trip for about 6 months, from January to July through Asia. I'm particularly interested in hostelworkstays, farmwork and au-pair like work.

Hello, Workawayers and hosts! 👋 I’m Helen, 18 years old and from Hamburg, Germany, where I grew up.

I've always loved traveling, to far-off countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia but also those closer to Germany. Experiencing new cultures and meeting people from all over is something I’m really looking forward to. Now, after graduating, I'm fulfilling my dream of full-time travel. With a trip to Italy for a few months in 2024, and now traveling Asia in 2025.

What motivates me is the opportunity to engage in cultural exchange, learn from diverse perspectives, and collaborate on projects that make a positive impact. I find joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it's connecting with nature, immersing myself in different cuisines, or simply learning new skills.
I seek opportunities that align with my values and interests, but otherwise, I’m open to anything.

For the past two years, I’ve been working at a restaurant while finishing High School. That has made me more open and given me a good feeling of productive work. 
My first language is of course, German, and I am also fluent in English.

I am a very friendly and open minded person that can help with a variety of tasks including pet sitting, speaking German or English, gardening, housework, cooking, helping out a farm, social work or also in different businesses and the gastronomy, where I've worked for the past two years.
