Hi and nice to meet you,

I get a lot of joy out of learning new skills or practicing skills I can improve at, especially gardening, becoming handier with tools/renovations, DIY projects, cooking, and getting involved with NGO endeavors. If you are willing to teach me something I am happy to learn. At home I spend my free time tutoring refugee youth, making kombucha, reading, and tending my humble compost pile.

Currently I am very interested in learning about beekeeping! I've had a couple hands-on experiences and read a couple books but am enthusiastic to learn from anybody with hands-on apiary/beekeeping experience.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I studied humanities and a have a TEFL certificate which I have used in different educational roles. I have gone on several farm-stays and am comfortable gardening, weeding, providing basic animal care, helping renovate houses, assisting in small-scale construction, painting, etc. In my more corporate roles I have experience reviewing/proofreading, and in general being an administrator. I have used some basic tools. I have guided other people's work to complete shared tasks. I am used to house and pet sitting. I was a paraprofessional and also lived with adults with disabilities so I am comfortable around kids and can relate non-judgmentally with people with disabilities. I've traveled a fair amount so I feel nimble in navigating intercultural relations.
