Hi! 👋🏼

We are Heather and Petros, nice to meet you! We are a couple from the United States traveling Central and South America for the year of 2024 and are looking for opportunities to help with a variety of projects, learn, and to build community.

We are both from the United States: Heather is from the state of New York, and Petros is from Washington State.

We enjoy exploring jungles, oceans, and cities alike. We love to ski, hike, play cards/games, drink tea, read, play music and love interacting with all people and animals (especially birds!) We like to share stories and knowledge of the world with those around us.

We both work in conservation and and therefore are always striving to learn more about sustainable living. We are eager to help with natural building projects, farming, natural medicine, any type of planting, and anything that involves wildlife or animals! We’re always willing to get dirty and to put in hard work.

Heather speaks English and Petros speaks English and Greek. We both are intermediate Spanish speakers and we are continuing to learn, and excited to practice 😁

Somos Heather y Petros, ¡encantado de conocerte! Somos una pareja de Estados Unidos que viajamos a Centro y Sudamérica durante el año 2024 y buscamos oportunidades para ayudar con una variedad de proyectos, aprender y construir una comunidad.

Ambos somos de Estados Unidos: Heather es del estado de Nueva York y Petros es del estado de Washington.

Disfrutamos explorando selvas, océanos y ciudades por igual. Nos encanta esquiar, caminar, jugar a las cartas/juegos, tomar té, leer, tocar música y nos encanta interactuar con todas las personas y animales (¡especialmente con las aves!). Nos gusta compartir historias y conocimientos del mundo con quienes nos rodean.

Ambos trabajamos en conservación y, por lo tanto, siempre nos esforzamos por aprender más sobre la vida sostenible. ¡Estamos ansiosos por ayudar con proyectos de construcción natural, agricultura, medicina natural, cualquier tipo de plantación y cualquier cosa que involucre vida silvestre o animales! Siempre estamos dispuestos a ensuciarnos y trabajar duro.

Heather habla inglés y Petros habla inglés y griego. Ambos somos hablantes intermedios de español y seguimos aprendiendo y estamos emocionados de practicar 😁

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both work in conservation and natural resource management and have a passion for sustainable living. Due to our work, we have experience in teaching children and adults, collecting data, manual labor, planting/farming, a bit of bio construction from previous volunteer experiences, and a variety of other skills.
