After two years of covid I am finally packing my bags and going on adventures. When I graduated in 2020 covid crossed my plans to do a gap year and with really nothing else to do I moved out and started studying Social Science. Fast forward to now I am almost at the end of my study but had the feeling that something was missing. So I decided to register on here to hopefully experience and learn new things.

I want to learn about myself, the world, see different ways of living and maybe visit one or two places along the way. After two years of constant studying I want to dig into work and gain practical experience. I am looking for something where I can spend time in nature and would love to take care of animals but I am open to anything.

I'm an open and easygoing person and would love to connect with new people. I like to read, do sports, and enjoy cooking, hiking and spending time outdoors. I’ve wanted to learn to knit for a long time, but somehow haven't managed to start yet (Update: I started while travelling!).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Thanks to my studies I am able to structure my workday and get things done. I have a lot of experience with shared living spaces and like to cook and bake.
I did an internship at an elementary school and worked for half a year at the after-school care at my high school where I took care of the children and helped them with their homework.
I really enjoy DIY-stuff like painting a wall or building something. I also have a driver license and driving experience with various vehicles.
Currently, I am working at my university in a research project.

I have spent two months on Farms as a Workaway where I gained practical skills like fencing and animal care (sheeps, chickens, bunnies, ducks) and knowledge of farm live. I also spent a month in the Netherlands as an Au-Pair and gained more experience with children.

I can speak fluent German and English and have very basic skills in French.

I want to learn, get my hands dirty and broaden my horizon.

When I cook for myself I mainly cook vegetarian or vegan dishes but I also eat meat and fish, so I have no problem with either lifestyle.

I love quiet evenings with good company, a good old board game and conversations about everything and nothing.
