Description
Hey! I'm Guido, from Bogotá, Colombia.
I'm a cybersecurity engineer who got tired of living a corporate life watching time go by behind a computer, and decided to quit my job and leave it all behind in search of a more meaningful and fulfilling life. I'm now a full time traveler, and I want to participate in volunteering opportunities where I could support good causes, learn new skills, and connect with like minded people. I prefer projects with a social or environmental impact, but I'm open to everything where I can be useful.
About my personality:
I´m a chilled and peaceful, easy going, educated and respectful. A bit of an introvert, but also kind and open to socialize. I'm responsible and committed, and I always try to give my best to accomplish the tasks I'm assigned to do.
About my lifestyle:
I love being outdoors and being physically active, I love mountains and I do a lot of hiking. I try to maintain a healthy lifestyle and I exercise frequently (calisthenics), so and I'm in good condition. I don´t have any health issues or restrictions. Off course I like some drinks and party from time to time but I'm not a heavy or frequent drinker, and I don´t do drugs.
About my skills:
From my career in cybersecurity I became good at:
- Computers
- Things that require patience, analytical skills, and attention to detail,
From life and past volunteering experiences:
- Plastering, painting walls and basic renovation works.
- Light gardening and farming
- Cleaning and making beds at hostels
Overall, I enjoy challenging myself and getting out of my comfort zone.
I never had much chance to explore my creative side but I think there's something there waiting to be discovered, specially at drawing and artistic painting.
I hope I gave you a good insight of who I am. -
