I’d love open air activities, cooking (it'll be a pleasure for me to share Italian food with people) or gardening. But I'm open to all kind of activities!

Description

Hi there :) ! I'm Giulia and I graduated in psychology in 2022. Now I just came back from the most beautiful experience in my life, in Tanzania, where I was volunteering in a school and then in an orphanage for the whole last year. There I had the opportunity to get to know myself better compare to what I used to do at home, I got to know a new language, a new culture and a slower lifestyle that prioritize your needings and your connections with people!!
Now I'm interested in finding some places around which can host me for a while and someone to share experiences with.
I am using workaway because I think that experiences like these can teach me a lot and in exchange I can give you my positivite attitude!!

I think that simple things give you the best return in life.
I'm a big fan of nature, animals and all kind of sports. I also enjoy to immerse myself in reading new books and cooking new recipes.

I started to travel when I was a child (my family used to have a van). I'm a very curious and open-minded person and I’m constantly looking for new cultures, new people and new food to discover all around the world.

I had my first experience as workawayer last year in Denmark in an eco-community and I really felt like I was home since the very first moment I came there. I love that kind of slow life far from the main cities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience with kids: I used to babysit and I even worked in a lot of summer camps for children.

I'm an hard worker and I'm adaptable to a wide range of situations! I'm pretty good in cooking (pizza/pasta/cakes and since the last four years I became interested in sustainable/vegetable cuisine), I'm living by myself and I experienced a lot of manual works.

I will enjoy working in an group, maybe doing some outdoor activities, taking care of the garden, the animals, the house and expecially the kitchen with a lot of good rock music surrounding us :)

I have a lot of board games like Dixit (my fav one), Scrabble and Trivial pursuit.

I'm a passionate about photography, the old camera with the film that need to be developed is my favourite way to take pictures

I love mountain and I often go for a walk or for skiing, and last year I tried indoor climbing for the first time, now I’m waiting for a big rock or a baobab to start climbing again haha
