Description

I have travelled a fair bit to different parts of the world but have always stayed in hotels or with family. I am looking to explore places in a new way and to connect with the land and people. I signed up for Workaway so I can experience life by living the life of the people who live in a place. I will offer my time and energy in exchange for a place to stay, good food, interesting conversations, and new experiences. I am passionate about gardening and cooking and would like to share my knowledge with others while picking up new skills.
I enjoy learning about other cultures and happy to share my knowledge about my culture as well. I am very interested in permaculture, sustainability and would like to know more about growing food.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am passionate about gardening and cooking. I have a lovely small garden which was an empty patch of land when I moved in, now is a thriving floral display. I grow herbs which I can use in my salads/stews and love growing greens like spinach, bakchoy and silverbeet. I do not have the space for fruit trees, but have recently planted a dwarf apple plant, lets see how that goes. I love cooking mostly vegetarian but I do make a mean lamb kebab. I like to experiment with different flavours and am currently obsessed with making poke bowls.

I would like to learn new skills and live like a local. I am a social person and like spending time with people who have varied interests. I am passionate about food and enjoy cooking for my family and friends. I am a keen gardener and love flowers. I can sit in my backyard for hours reading a book and watching nature around me.
