Description
Hello! My name is Gaia, I’m from Argentina, and I'm a teacher of English as a Foreign Language. I consider myself a sociable, adaptable, and curious person who loves being surrounded by nature and has a deep interest in learning about almost everything. Furthermore, I enjoy outdoor sports, yoga, reading, painting, crafting, learning new skills, and I’m passionate about communicating in different languages! Ah... I'm also keen on cooking, and I love baking sourdough bread!
I grew up in a family where sustainable living, healthy eating, and respect for Mother Nature were fundamental values. It was with my family that I gained hands-on experience in raising chickens, tending a vegetable garden, and creating handcrafted products. My interests have since expanded to include ecological and sustainable construction, animals, plants, food self-sufficiency, and teaching. These passions have led me to participate in several meaningful volunteer projects, such as working with children in Brazil, helping build an eco-house in Belgium, and creating biofertilizers in a biofactory in Argentina, among others. 🌞🌱🌄🌈🌍🌎🌏
Since English is my main tool for work, I’m seeking volunteering opportunities where I can immerse myself in British culture, so as to expand my knowledge as well as polish my English. Something important to point out is that I work online, so I would need a stable internet connection and a quiet space during working hours.
