Description

Hello! My name is Fuka Ippoi.
I am 21 years old and from Osaka, Japan. I study Danish at Osaka University, and now I am staying in Denmark for half a year at Kalø Højskole. I can speak daily English and a little Danish.

In Japan, I worked at Starbucks, and I love coffee and hygge moments.
I think I have a calm personality. I played volleyball for 9 years, so I am good at working in a team.

I like reading books, listening to music, walking, camping, and spending time in nature. I also love animals.

My dream is to become a buyer who brings furniture and goods from Europe to Japan. That is why I study Danish—to speak the local language and enjoy shopping in Scandinavia.

At my højskole, I live in the middle of a national park, so I am surrounded by nature every day. I love this life in nature. There is also an agricultural school next to us, and after hearing their stories, I became interested in farming and livestock. I would love to experience life on a farm.

When I go back to Japan, I will start job hunting. WWOOFing is a chance for me to think about my future, challenge myself, and learn from new people and new environments. I am really looking forward to meeting you!

I’m good at approaching things in a planned and organized way! While I’m not extremely fluent in English, I can communicate with others in a friendly and cheerful manner.

When I was in Japan, I worked in cafes and restaurants, so I’m skilled at making coffee and preparing simple dishes.
