Farina & Sofea both worked as hard or harder than any other Workawayers we've hosted. They moved a mountain of grass mulch onto our field beds. They removed all the tools from the entranceway of our house and put them into a shed. They put walls and doors onto the shed to protect/secure the tools. We stayed for 2 weeks with Arana's family in Dec 2019, in an off-grid community at the foot of Cradle Mountain. Arana was away at work at Cradle Mountain until the last few days over Christmas when she swapped places with Nick. It was difficult to find a host close to Sydney that will accommodate both my 9 yr old daughter & I, and Rowan was one of the few who did. Lisa, Mekdes & Rino makes our stay remarkable & wonderful with their warmth, generosity and thoughtfulness.. we cooked a lot over a few days in preparation for a big Christmas party... didn't even feel like work because Sofea & I were busy tasting food as we go.. we definitely overdosed on chocolate and desserts! We enjoyed having Farina and her very bubbly daughter Sofea stay with us and help us prepare for our Christmas party. Farina also did an amazing job sorting out my linen cupboard and I can now find everything easily! We would very much recommend them to any future hosts.
